As an endodontist, I understand that patients are often very apprehensive about the work they are about to have done: they may have heard negative stories about root canals and related treatment, or had their own upsetting experiences. It is critical to sincerely listen to their concerns and do all I can to allay their fears and put them at ease.
Endodontic procedures can be performed very comfortably and effectively, however many patients are concerned about the nature of the treatment and the outcome. Being a good listener and advising, informing, and reassuring patients can go a long way toward reducing or eliminating the individual’s fears. That’s not only valuable to my patient, but fulfilling to me.
Upon completion of a procedure, patients often sit up and say, “That was easier than a filling!”. That's always a great thing for me to hear. Even better, it is a great thing for the patient to experience.
Dr. Nicholas J. Manzoli
Education and Experience
Dr. Manzoli completed a Bachelor’s degree at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he was awarded a Master of Science in Bioengineering. While earning his Master’s, he participated in dental research, which steered his interest toward oral healthcare.
He next attended Boston University Goldman School, for his Doctorate in Dental Medicine, and then studied under Dr. Herbert Schilder to earn a Specialty Certificate in Endodontics, also at Boston University; he has practiced dentistry since 1983.
Dr. Manzoli offers painless, advanced endodontic care, with a focus on saving teeth, improving oral health, and restoring function.

- Worcester District Dental Society, past Secretary

Beyond the Practice
A native of Yonkers, New York, Dr. Manzoli now resides in Holden, Massachusetts with his wife Crystal and their pets and our mascots, Dr. Finn and Dr. Reese. Dr. Manzoli is an avid photographer, traveler, musician, and golfer. He enjoys cooking, health and fitness, and sports – especially Patriots Football.
