Dr. Tenzin Tamula completed specialty residency training in endodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Prior to specialization, she practiced general dentistry following completion of a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and a General Practice Residency. This experience provided a comprehensive foundation in dental medicine and informed her decision to pursue advanced training in endodontics.
During endodontic residency, Dr. Tamula received the Clinical Proficiency Award of Excellence in Endodontics and completed a master’s thesis evaluating postoperative pain modulation following periradicular surgery using specialized pro-resolving mediators. She has authored peer-reviewed publications in the Journal of Endodontics and the Journal of Oral Sciences and has presented at national and regional professional meetings.
Dr. Tamula’s clinical practice is grounded in patient-centered care, systematic diagnosis approach, and the application of current evidence to treatment planning. She emphasizes patient comfort, clear communication, and shared clinical decision-making to deliver individualized, high-quality care and a positive clinical experience.
Dr. Tenzin Tamula holds a Massachusetts dental license, is fluent in English, Tibetan, and Hindi, and is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.
